31/01/2012: The pictures are online of Chile, just click on Media.
28/01/2012: 10 reasons to get a Simmer Style board 1) The carbon stringers inside and outside the board makes it superstrong. 2) Carbon X principal optimizes the flex where needed, it results in tight turning and drive through the bottom turn. 3) The only windsurf board ever seen which has finboxes with toe like normal surfboards. It makes the turns smoother and gives more direction to the turn. 4) A vent made of gore tex that regulates the pressure inside itself. Never problems anymore with screws or the rubber rings that break. 5) Adjustable for any type of condition: Change fins or just change the position. More grip or tighter turning. 6) Stable as a quad, vivid as a twin with lots of drive through the bottom turn. 7) Early planing board, accelerates fast which results in good speed for jumping. 8) At both sides of any footstrap double screws. 9) Graphics looks aggressive. 10) Price is really sharp.
25/01/2012: Just got back from my winterholiday in Chile. It was intens, never had a trip like this. It was different on land, but the superiority of Chile on the water is incredible! If you want to surf real waves consistently ... You have to come here at least once in your life. The surfing went great although I hadn't surfed in several months (because of my job) Simmer Style Flywave 69 was the perfect choice to surf radically. The board is superstrong and does whatever you ask it to do. late or not, you transform the wave to a piece of art. This board in de air is a real cloudkisser. Amazing!
09/10/2011: Last week The new Simmer-Style Mission X sails arrived. Again I choose for the sizes 3.7 4.2 and 5.0. The graphics look amazing and the colours come to it's right on the water. As the previous Mission X sails, the on/off function works really well in the bottom- and topturn. The testing day was really gusty, some people were sailing with 3.7 while I was sailing with 5.0. I never felt overpowered. The trim- and wind reach is amazingly big... In comparing to last years editions, the Simmer Style Mission X is made lighter then ever. You can feel that in handling, it is a very responsive and balanced sail. Because of the light material in the top, the sail is also even more forgiving than last year. To end I must add that the Mission X stays leader in using the strongest materials available and that results in a durable and bulletproof product.
14/09/2011: The summerseason in France is almost at it's end. The workingpressure was high and didn't score as much nice waves as we all hoped for. Although we had some unforgetable new wavesurfingrides on our list. Last week I decided to book my fligt to make sure I find a new summer in wintertime. Chili will be my home from the 23th of November till the 1st of February. I wanted to go to Chili last year, but the lack of my ability to speak Spanish was a big treshhold. This year it ain't so much different, but hey, ... you can wait all your life right? Some of my best travelfriends will be there as well in december, so I have a month to learn a bit of that Latin American language. I can't wait, heard a lot of great stories about Chili! hope the conditions will be perfect for windsurfing, ... the surf will be good in any case ...
31/05/2011: Got my new Simmer Style Mission X sails! I tested them with some different conditions. As the last years editions they feel light but radically strong. With some side off wavesailing I experienced the on/off function of the sail. The mission X scores big time on this aspect. This allows you to push your bottom turn into perfection. 100% control with other words. I had the best bottom-day ever with a lot of speed for the top turn. Last weekend we went to Wissant with not quite good waveconditions, but for jumpinig it was good enough. As well in the air I felt like I could decide perfectly how fast my rotation would go, especially in a backloop. The wind was very gusty and I was many times overpowered as underpowered. Saturday with te 5.0 and sunday with the 4.2. I pulled my sail to a big loose leach. These sails can handle it and offers you a big windrange. That is aswell the reason why I don't have another size between 4.2 and 5.0. The 3.7 havn't been tested yet, but I hope it will be happening soon ... love wavesailing with 3.7!

05/04/2011: Back in Belgium and started to work immediately. I had a lot of energy combining my labour with applying for better work. After a week I found the job of my life (I guess), meaning I can combine my job with my windsurfing. My work is surf-holidayrelated and gives me the opportunity to travel on my own in wintertime for 2 months. visit Breakloose Belgium or Breakloose Netherlands. Cheers!

01/03/2011: A late Happy new year! better late then never. I was busy having the time of my life ... again in South Africa. Surf 'n party, surf 'n party, surf ... 'n party. I really could use some time to recover from my holiday :p, but hey ... a man needs to work sooner or later. We had a great season. We started off with a few really good uncrowded days in December, especially at Cape Point. To bad it gets every year more and more expensive to go into the National Parc. In January the parties started really good and it was windy every day ... where to find sleep? We had our schedule on every day of the week where we had to go to. In January we had some days with nice swell aswell! Never saw Big Bay and Sunset this glassy! February had its ups and downs but had nice days aswell, more jump-orientated. To bad some guys stole my car at the end of the holiday which was a bit of a downsider to my trip. ('hire-a-car', soon to be 'surf-rental' was not kean on helping me out, never had my deposit back after tons of mailing and photos of the recovered car). In the end ... It was another awesome season! Check the windsurfpictures down here, or here.
22/10/2010: Time to change! Even though I'm really convinced about the shapes of the Quatro's I changed to the stylish RRD quad hardcore wave 76. RRD has te same innovative shapes and there's a lot of dynamics in the company. But the main reason I changed is that RRD makes really quality and durable carbon loaded boards that can withstand a lot of impact. I am sure this high resistent board gives me more confidence on the water not to break stuff, especially going to SA! I chose the quad hardcore wave because of te radical style along with the grip in the bottom turn. I really am looking forward to test it. Hopefully this weekend of BK wave!!
11/09/10: Ticket booked to South Africa the sequel ;) Time to jump and rip the waves apart. December, January and Februari will be a warm winter again for me.
12/04/10: Back from Klimoller the Crowning III. We had some fun surfing and windsurfing with SUP's because there was to less wind again.
04/03/10: The Crowning III became a sure thing
01/02/10: Back from the wintertrip to Australia. The first month we had a lot of wind but not so great waves. The second month was insane, with loads of wind and very good waveconditions in Gnaraloo and Margaret River. Check the windsurfpictures down here, or here.
27/10/09: Back from Ireland trip for 10 years surfschool.be. We didn't score good windsurfconditions, but the waves were great.
03/09/09: Check some photos of my new gear on the water in my photogallery, album 'simmer quatro 2009'
31/07/09: Ticket booked to Australia from 28 November 2009 till 30 January 2010.
03/07/09: After a period of writing a document to promote myself as a windsurfer, I mailed it to Gearfreak.nl. Gearfreak.nl is the importer of Simmerstyle and Thommen (T1) in the Netherlands but they also sell other brands such as Quatro, Goya, Lorch, Angulo, Hifly, Dakine, O'neill, .... The next day I got a positive answer in my mailbox. Before I even realised it, there was a Quatro twin fin 68 (Limited Edition) and three Simmer Mission X's in my backyard, check out all the pics in Media.
The SimmerSails are looking incredibly stylish and strong. If we have a closer look it is pretty obvious that SimmerStyle makes outstanding sails. SimmerStyle claims to deliver the best quality on the market! The Quatro Twin fin has a amazingly sexy outline combined with exquisitely swell graphics. My tools for 2009 couldn't be better.
